Diploma in Channelling Studies
(Channeling Studies)
This Diploma is by independent distance learning (home study). No textbooks or course materials are supplied. The course will be completed by writing an extended essay based on your previous knowledge. The course is offered without tutor support.
The Diploma is suitable for people with relevant knowledge and experience seeking a qualification which can be gained through writing an extended essay showing a theoretical and/or practical knowledge of channelling (spelled “channeling” in the US) and channelled teachings. Possible examples of study themes may be (but are not limited to): Course in Miracles, Edgar Cayce, Ceanne de Rohan, Vadim Zeland, Ramtha, Seth, Abraham, Zinser/Gerod, or the Pleiadian Collective. If you are a channel you may discuss your own work.
In January 2018 we conducted a thorough revision of the Conscious Courses website and services. In view of the very high standard of essays we received, we know that our students are genuine and competent and well deserve this chance to obtain a self-study qualification. We are therefore setting a new target of a 3,500-word essay which is based on the average minimum number of words required for completing a shorter textbook-based course at UK College of Holistic Training. You may select your own essay title to fit your theme.
An essay of at least 3,500 words will be required that includes most or all of the following points:
- Some knowledge of the history of channelling throughout the ages
- The beginnings and history of the channellings being studied
- How can one become a channel?
- Who or what does the channel whose work you are studying claim to be?
- Is the identity of the channel important?
- What are the channel’s main teachings or messages?
- How do they relate to other channeled or spiritual teachings?
- What exactly is channelling?
- How is it different from mediumship?
- Does the channel engage in social criticism?
- What are the channel’s views on religion?
- What are the channel’s views on the afterlife?
- What are the channel’s views on the future of the Earth and humankind?
- Was it difficult for the channel to accept the presence of the entity?
- Could the entity be part of the channel’s “higher self”? What would that imply?
- Controversies and criticisms
- How can we decide if a channelled teaching is valid?
The essay may be based on channelled, inspirational or researched material – please give appropriate references wherever possible, and indicate where the views given are your own and where they are drawn from other sources.
You will retain copyright of your work.

Choose the method that works best for you, though enrolling for your course first will enable us to send you some helpful information that will increase your chances of passing the course.
